Ably led by the Akkadian Sorceress Rhiannon, The Mage Guild of The Havens is the group for all magic users. Witches, Warlocks, Wizards, Sorcerers, Enchanters, Necromancers, Conjurers, Shamans, Healer-Mages… The Mage Guild covers them all, except for Genies (Djinn), which are just too powerful for practical RP.
The Mage Guild is also open to all magical paths, all traditions and all styles. However, members will be asked to prepare a write-up describing their character and explaining their magic.
The Guild is set up so that each mage progresses through the ranks from Apprentice Mage (Level 1) up to Master-Class Mage (Level 5). Promotions will be based primarily on a players role play participation and activity levels, rather than on what level they achieve with the Azora Meter.
Magic use in The Havens will be conducted through a combination of available Azora magical/healing items and straight role play.
As the Mage Guild grows, we will expanding our activities to include things like RP classes, Magic classes and a Mentoring Program, where the more experienced mages will work one on one with the novices.
