Morwen has come to the Havens along with her erstwhile chum, Yashan seeking adventure and thrills. Morwen is originally from Mithlond in Middle Earth and grew up around ships and the sea. It was not common for women amongst elves in her world to aspire to feats of derring do, so it was only after a lot of cajoling and pleading she was allowed to travel with a trading expedition to visit Elfhaven and take service with Queen Vor and her peculiar niece, Luthien.
She has rescued a shy woman named Ripley from some bandits and take her on as a servant. The two seem closer than mistress and servant would imply.
